In 2003 Heidi Cleveland rescued her first dog. A black and white mix she named Seida, who changed Heidi’s life forever. Eight months later, Miss Chloe, a border collie puppy, joined the family. Heidi knew she needed to find an activity for her energetic girls and she discovered the exciting sport of agility and was instantly hooked.
Heidi now has four dogs in her home, Seida and Chloe, Reese – couch potato extraordinaire and her new pup, Wicket – a handsome Welsh Sheepdog lad and her new agility prospect. Currently Seida is retired and Chloe is actively competing. Chloe has continued to amaze Heidi with her love to play and work on and off the agility field. She has titles in AKC, NADAC, UKC and has competed in a few USDAA and UKI trials.
Heidi and Nancy have been training together since Heidi began her agility journey. She has also attended many seminars with Debbie Spence and three intense days with Laura Derrett. Heidi instructs agility classes from pre-agility to intermediate. She is a knowledgeable and gifted trainer and handler who can help you and your dog succeed.
Annabelle Conner was born into a dog family. Her father was a field trainer for hunting dogs who specialized in helping dogs who had been abused or lost confidence. This fascinated Annabelle and today she trains with the same love and logic. In 1999 Annabelle bought her first Bichon Frise’, Aslun. As they say, the rest is history.
Annabelle has three dogs now, two Bichons and one Havanese. All three are registered with Therapy Dogs International. All three have their Companion Dog obedience title. Mitchell, the Havanese has honored Annabelle with 12 qualifying scores in 12 shows of different venues. …….. a 100% Q rate!!!!!! All three are working on advanced titles in different areas, and one of them works exclusively in Rally Obedience.
Annabelle states, “I train my dogs with positive training methods as my dogs are sensitive and I want them to remain that way. My relationship with them is the most important thing. I have found positive methods to be builders of our relationship together and they are also fun!”
You can be sure Annabelle will share her positive training skills with you to help you with your training goals and success!
Linda Durham bought her first Vizsla in 1992 as a hunting companion. Encouraged by his breeder to show, Linda laughs, “I had no idea what I was getting into. I started the same way most people do…in conformation class teaching my dog to STAND.”
Linda has learned since then, there is a LOT more to making a showdog than teaching him to stand for exam! This is what she wants to share with others…the art of presenting your dog!
Linda has shown dogs in conformation for the past 17 years and has bred nearly 50 champions under the kennel prefix RENAISSANCE. From multiple Best in Show winners to the class champion, she has been involved with all aspects of the dog show game, from competing to stewarding to judging. Linda Durham has what it takes to teach you to present your dog and catch the attention of the judge.
